The rest of the trip: Denver; Aberdeen, SD; Milwaukee and Bowling Green, OH

Aaaaaaaaaah!  Blogging is going to be harder than I thought!  Ok, before I can even start talking about my arrival (which I have…arrived), I need to at least throw up some pictures from the rest of my trip.

Visiting Heidi, my love, in Denver

Poor Heidi was a sickypants, so we had a lovely, lazy time.  The most productive we got was going to the supermarket to buy ourselves a feast of a variety of cheeses, other delicacies and wine.  And we smorgasborded our faces off.  I wish we had a picture.  We were waaaay to excited to eat our feast to think about taking a picture of it.  Hmmm, I can’t remember exactly, but I think we had: white cheddar from raw milk, blue cheese, jalepeno havarti, black currant and cranberry goat cheese, brei, a whole grain baguette, tomatoes with olive oil, balsamic and Italian herbs, avocado, apples, dried cranberries, mango…hmmm, anything else Heidi??  We played music and talked all night and then I had to leave at 7 am.  She got up at 6:30 to make me a delicious breakfast sandwich! Heidi, thanks for always loving me, even in my darkness.  You amaze me.

Aberdeen, South Dakota to visit Fr. Jeff

Yaaaaay Fr. Jeff!  He was so busy  😦  but we still got to spend some time together.  I was sooooo lucky.  It started snowing only about 30 miles outside of Aberdeen.  The roads were all clear and I just watched as the snow started to stick, and eventually the roads were covered.  Thank God cars were ahead of me and I had tire tracks to follow in.  And thank God for my snow tires!! (And mom.  Thanks mom!)  Fr. Jeff, thanks for your love and prayers.  You were fantastic with me, in the state I was in.  And I do believe that you’ve sorta been kickin’ satan’s ass with some hard core prayer.  I feel it.  And I appreciate it with all my heart.  (Same goes to ALL YOU OUT THERE who have prayed for me over the last few months.)

Helenville, Wisconsin (35 miles west of Milwaukee, where Anne & Peter Aguer live)

Yaaaaaay for my like-minded friends!  It is so amazing – they have the life I want with all my heart.  Love and marriage, both Catholic, an old farmhouse not too far from “civilization,” 3 acres of land with fruit trees and on which they’re going to grow a garden and have chickens and pigs and other animals who will be healthy and grass fed.  Faaaaantastic!  And Peter and I are into the exact same health and nutrition stuff.  Weston A. Price stuff.  It’s just awesome.  It was so great to be able to spend 3 days and nights with them!  Anne is the HOSTESS TO THE MOSTESS.  Here is my favorite picture of Anne and I from the trip.  We’re just laughing, laughing, laughing, which we do 3/4 of the time we’re together.  The other times we’re deeply sharing about our hearts and their pains.  So real.  🙂  Haha, I love her!

Milwaukee WITH THE GIRLZ!

Yaaaaay!  Thank you Karen Axt for putting me up for all the days I was in town, and for taking me everywhere.  We have twin souls in some ways, and I am always a little bit surprised. Laura, you’re always teaching me how to be a homemaker.  Cooking and baking treats and now, taking care of babes and hubs!  And thanks for being such a good friend.  🙂  And it was so good to see Heather, even if just for a bit!  Yaaay!  Katy & Amber too!  I just love Mil-town, and the farm lands surrounding it.  Hmm, maybe one day…. 😉

Bowling Green to visit Mel and little Rei (who’s not so little anymore!)

Melanie Georgakopoulos, 3 miles long!  I haven’t seen this dear old friend from my Humboldt days since 2008, I think!  Hmmm, or maybe 2009.  Anyway!  It had been too long. Melanie, my love, it was so good to see you.  We’re so close now, we can see each other sooner this time around.  I bet we’ll both be in a better place.

Thanks for always being there to boost me up and remind me that God is with me and helping me.  Love you friend!
