So it’s official! I’m a farmer! (Well….an intern)

I just wrote that blog last night, and I opened my email this morning and there was an email, offering me the farm internship!  YEEAAH!!  Now I can put my blog out there.  I don’t need to be afraid of having written my first blog about my great desire to do this internship and how I’m sort of counting on it and expecting it, and then the next blog says, “Oh…they didn’t offer it to me.”  So, maybe at some point I’ll put this out there.  Nervous about that a little bit.  Blogs.  How weird.  Who wants to read this stuff???

Now I can also get planning.  Holy Moses!  I have to start packing and cleaning and buying farm boots. No really. I need to buy farm boot.  I have to cross a tiny creek (honestly tiny, like 2-3 yards) to and from my living quarters.  Plus, I just need them. I’m going to get a list soon of all the practical things I will need.  I’ll need to buy some stuff.  Money.  Dagnabbit!  Baaah, I need to win the lottery.  I also need to get my car checked out, and continue to do this dental work, and save up for the gas I’ll need to drive across the country . . . Again!  Yay!!  This will be my FOURTH cross country trip!  3rd by car, one was on foot!  Well, half by foot half by car.

It’s bittersweet to be leaving; I’m happy-sad.  Going off to try out a long time dream of mine that I had decided was an impractical, unrealistic dream = happy.  But I’ll be leaving family and friends and all things familiar behind = sad.  : /

Wowza!  I can’t believe I am actually going!  And so freagin soon!  Holy Moly!
